Iwashigumi operating since 1986 with mainly serving sardine recipes dishes
and located in Katamachi, Kanazawa city.
We carefully select the fresh and fattier sardine at the local fish market every day.
Seasonal taste cuisines with fresh sardine and vegetables are always available.
Please drop in Iwashugumi when you visit Kanazawa.

We are dedicated to the ocean-fresh sardine more than anything.
Our menu possibly changes according to the season.
Also we might take a break just in case the poor catch of sardines happens.

If you make a reservation in advance,
we will be very flexible upon your request and budget.
Japanese Sake and local sake
Many kinds of local sake is available which goes well with sardine dishes.
Also some outstanding sake from all over Japan is available that is carefully selected
by our owner chef who is licensed sake sommelier.
Also there is always some special menu on the day. Please enjoy the seasonal taste!
